Common product design errors - and how to resolve them

Our Automated Designer is an amazing tool, but you may occasionally encounter design-related errors, especially when updating and changing current designs with custom ones. The good news is that these design issues can be resolved fairly easily:

• Blank designs: In rare cases you might have a blank design error, This can happen sometimes when adding a product. To resolve this issue, you can either add a custom design to the product, or delete it from your store.
• Replace embroidery to B&W: some embroidery products support black and white designs only. If this error appears, please update your design to be black and white only.
  
  
  
• Replace low resolution layer: this issue is displayed when the size of one or more elements in your design are not in the right resolution. When this error is displayed, it is required to either upload a higher-quality element or make the element smaller, otherwise the product will not be available in the store.
  
  What should be the design file resolution? Ensure your file is either a high-resolution png image (minimum of 1800 pixels in width) or an SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) file.
  
  
• Replace non CMYK layer: As your designs will be printed, the file colors must be in the CMYK colors range. In case an image was uploaded with non-CMYK color - a warning message will be displayed on the product. To resolve this issue - please upload a new image with a CMYK color.
  
  How to update my design to CMYK? your design needs to be converted to from RGB to CMYK, always embed the CMYK color profile when saving it to ensure consistent color reproduction. Keep in mind, some colors, especially bright and neon hues, may not translate well from RGB to CMYK.
  
  
  
• Redesign product: Sometimes, due to changes in the product print file settings, it will be necessary to update the product design. Please click on the "Design" option and apply the changes to meet the new product settings. Once the changes are applied and the product is saved, you should be ready to go!
